Enter the gross amount either weekly or annually and select the relevant tax year
The Australian Tax is calculated on the following basis:
- The rates of tax for individuals are applied.
- Medicare and the low income tax offset are applied but no other rebates or concessions
are applied. - The weekly net income is calcuated on the basis of 52 weeks per year.
Note: The simple Australian tax calculator on the ATO website does not include the Medicare levy or the low income tax offset.
